At a time in which everything seems to be hyper-partisan at every level of government, the job of county commissioner need not—and should not—be. The duties we carry out and the policies we implement are not the wedge issues that divide our state and country. Our job is to build—a budget, infrastructure, policies, trust, and confidence.
I have spent my professional life working to serve Boone County both within and outside government. At its core, I see the role of elected county commissioner as little different from that of my prior experience as an attorney and public defender--teaching, mediating, advocating, and solving problems on behalf of others. I am especially grateful for the following endorsements from citizens and colleagues, both near and far.
